The things students ask us on the call.
What does an OutFindr Student Ambassador actually do?
Organise two or three campus activities a month, such as football games, treks or café meetups. Invite students to your campus Circle so they can find upcoming activities.
What do I get out of it?
A monthly stipend or platform credits, with the amount discussed on the call. You also get merch, early access to features, a founder-signed reference letter and priority access to our Pune internship programme.
How many ambassadors do you take per college?
One or two. If your college already has one, we will tell you and keep you first in line for the next term.
How do you verify me?
By hand, today: you give us your name and Instagram handle, and a person on our team checks the account is yours. Instagram sign-in is coming.
My college is not on your list. Can I still apply?
Yes. Pick "Other (not listed)" in the form and type your college name. Students from unlisted colleges can apply too.
Do I need a big Instagram following?
No. We would rather have the person who can get thirty classmates to a 6 AM trek than the person with ten thousand followers who has never organised anything. Tell us what you have run and who came.
Will this eat my semester?
It should not. Plan on three or four hours a week, most of it the stuff you already do. We work around exams, and if a month is unworkable you tell us and we cover for you.
