Roles and responsibilities
OutFindr acts as a data controller for consumer data and a processor for certain partner data.
Business partners are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data they submit.
Legal basis
We process data to perform contracts, comply with legal obligations, and protect legitimate interests such as fraud prevention.
Subprocessors
We use vetted subprocessors for hosting, payments, analytics, and support. Each is bound by contractual security obligations.
Security controls
We use access controls, encryption, and monitoring. Access to sensitive data is restricted to authorized personnel.
Incident response
We investigate security incidents promptly and notify affected parties when required by law.
Retention and deletion
We retain data only as long as needed for operational and legal purposes. Deletion requests are honored when legally possible.
