Refund Policy

At OutFindr, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as accommodating as possible. Our refund policy is designed to offer you flexibility while allowing us to maintain fair practices for all involved parties, including other participants and event organizers.

These Terms apply to all users of the OutFindr app ("App") and services, including both individuals and businesses who list events or activities.

1. Participant Cancellations

If you need to cancel your participation, our refund policy is structured as follows:

  • Full Refund: If you cancel more than a week in advance, you are entitled to a full refund. This allows us enough time to offer your spot to another interested participant.
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made between three and six days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund. This acknowledges the challenges of filling spots at short notice while still offering a return on your investment.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event cannot be refunded, as arrangements are typically finalized, making it impractical to adjust plans without incurring expenses.
2. Event Cancellation by OutFindr

In cases where OutFindr must cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, we follow these refund procedures:

  • Automatic Refunds: If we need to cancel due to host unavailability, extreme weather, or other disruptions, all registered participants will automatically receive a full refund.
  • Notification: We aim to notify participants as soon as possible and process refunds promptly to minimize inconvenience.
3. Rescheduling Options

Instead of a refund, we offer the option to reschedule your booking to another similar event within 60 days, subject to availability. This helps maintain the vibrancy of our community activities while providing an alternative to cancellations.

4. Extenuating Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. In cases of serious illness or family emergencies, we may provide a full refund or waive cancellation fees upon receiving verifiable documentation. This policy reflects our commitment to treating our customers with empathy and understanding.

5. Processing Refunds

Refunds are processed within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation notice. The funds will be returned via the original payment method used during the booking, unless otherwise requested.
